Dr. Maura Mack

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Mack was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Centennial, Colorado. While growing up she frequently rode trails and hunter jumper style on her Thoroughbred, Bergerac. Dr. Mack received her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with an equine emphasis from the University of California, Davis. During her time at UC Davis, she also worked in the Veterinary Genetics Lab where she worked on several coat color genetics projects and her work was published in a scientific journal. Dr. Mack earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and most recently finished an intense one-year internship at Littleton Equine Medical Center where she honed in her skills in internal medicine, lameness, surgery and emergency medicine.

In her spare time, you will find Dr. Mack and her boyfriend, Andrew, hiking throughout Central Oregon's great outdoors, sampling our local microbrews, catching a new box office release at the theater or you may find Dr. Mack perusing a local bookstore in search of her favorite genres, science fiction and horse genetics.
